Concord Creates

A bi-monthly critique group offered by five of Concord’s acclaimed creative institutions.

These informal critiques are open to artists at all levels and in all media. Artists who would like to be critiqued are encouraged to bring 2-3 pieces. These can be finished work, works in progress, or early sketches. Each artist is given 15-20 minutes and can decide the course of the conversation: asking for specific feedback, general response, problem solving, brainstorming, and more.

The critiques are facilitated by Miranda Aisling Hynes, Director of Operations and Visual Arts at The Umbrella and former art educator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

All events in this series are free and open to the public, you do not have to be a Concord Resident or member of any of the listed art centers to attend. You are welcome to come join in the conversation even if you don’t have work to show!
