Taught at colleges, high schools and middle schools in Ghana, UK and the USA for the past 30 years.

Lives in Maynard, MA with his wife Elizabeth Updike Cobblah, who is also an artist, and art teacher at the Fenn school. The couple also have a house in Ghana where they support the school for the blind and a small daycare center for the less privileged. They have  two sons who are also teachers in private schools in Maine and Andover, MA.

Tete and Elizabeth share a studio in Maynard's Artspace.

Hobbies: Reading and writing, Playing the guitar , Composing music, making of video documentaries.

Publications : Religious aspects of Traditional Ghanaian Pottery, articles for Museum of science. Consultant for educational materials for Boston university's African studies department.

Personal mission: To leave my footprints for others to discover by reaching out, questioning, opening up to the world, and making peace for the future. To create and create with hands, heart and mind. After all, don't we create because once in a while we realize we are unresolved?
