Sara Cassidy Smith

I live in Carlisle, MA with my family and currently shares studio space at The Umbrella.  I also work as a Campus Planner at University of Massachusetts Lowell. 

My most recent work has focused on street scapes, in which painting and architecture come together to challenge my drawing skills as well as my ability to capture color, light, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.  I am drawn to the patterns, abstract window reflections, graphic signage, and vibrant colors of small New England main streets.
