Kathy Warren

Kathy Warren is the Volunteer Coordinator for the Umbrella and has been a volunteer coordinator for over 13 years. She designed and implemented The Umbrella’s volunteer program 6 years ago resulting in thousands of hours contributed by dedicated volunteers. Before joining The Umbrella, Kathy managed volunteer, English language tutors.

Kathy has a BS degree in Education from Pennsylvania State University and has worked in public education and educational software.

In her work as the Volunteer Coordinator, Kathy is:

• Passionate about education, the arts, and nonprofit community organizations
• Able to engage, connect and inspire volunteers in community service
• Skilled at organizing and problem solving using the many talents of volunteers
• Appreciative and supportive of volunteers whose impact is enormous

In her free time she enjoys quilting, walking, cooking and visiting museums especially in New York City.
