This class is for students wishing to explore ceramics more deeply. Throwing larger amounts of clay, working in multiples, and thrown then altered forms will be explored. We will discuss ways to build depth and find your own aesthetic. Throughout the session we will look at other contemporary ceramic artists work and their approach to making ceramic art. Cone 10 and cone 6 glazes will be utilized. Students should have experience throwing and hand building.

Instructor: Elizabeth Noonan
Elizabeth Noonan holds a BFA from The Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a degree in Ceramics. She is a multidisciplinary artist who works with a myriad of materials, from clay to drawing and fibers.
