Gregory Maguire is a novelist for adults and children. His best known books include Wicked, which inspired the hit Broadway musical; Egg & Spoon, a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Award winner; and After Alice. He is in demand as a speaker nationally and has been nominated for the 2017 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, an international prize given to people who write for children and promote reading for children. He has been an Umbrella artist since 1996.
